Chr. Marafatsos: The U.S. Views the Greece–Cyprus–Israel Trilateral Partnership as a Cornerstone of Regional Stability

The Israel-Greece Friendship Association held a highly successful event on Monday, April 7, at the historic Athens Club (Syllogos ton Athinaion). The evening’s keynote speaker was Christos Marafatsos, President of Greek Americans for Trump and a prominent figure in the Greek diaspora in the United States.

Guests were welcomed by Kosmas Pentakalos, founder and president of the Israel-Greece Friendship Association, who opened the event with a warm address.

In a packed hall, Mr. Marafatsos captivated the audience with his speech, offering an in-depth analysis of the shifting geopolitical dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean. He emphasized the critical role played by the trilateral strategic alliance between Greece, Cyprus, and Israel—an alliance the United States considers a cornerstone of regional stability.

He also highlighted areas of potential cooperation between Greece and the United States, particularly in national security and trade. Moreover, Mr. Marafatsos explored Greece’s emerging role as a hub for energy and technology, citing significant recent investments by major American corporations, including Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson.

The evening took a more personal turn when Mr. Marafatsos shared stories from his life journey—beginning in the Greece of his childhood and culminating in his rise within the American political landscape. His inspiring path, marked by both challenges and achievements, resonated strongly with young Greeks seeking to forge their own paths, both at home and abroad.

His presence and remarks left a lasting impression, underscoring his role as a vital bridge between the Greek and American worlds.
