Βίαιες συγκρούσεις ξέσπασαν μεταξύ διαδηλωτών και αστυνομικών δυνάμεων στη Σίτρα του Μπαχρέιν, μετά την εκτέλεση του σιίτη ιερωμένου Νιμρ αλ-Νιμρ στη Σαουδική Αραβία.
Οι διαδηλωτές χρησιμοποίησαν πέτρες, σφεντόνες και βόμβες μολότοφ εναντίον των αστυνομικών, ενώ η αστυνομία απάντησε με δακρυγόνα.
